Our next concert is on May 16th at G-Live Guildford, where we're delighted to be joined by Guildford Choral. It features Dvorak's optimistic 8th symphony, which was inspired by the composer's love of folk music. This is contrasted by a performance of Puccini's Messa di Gloria. Originally composed in 1880 as a graduation piece, Messa di Gloria is a masterful choral work that shows the talent and ambition of the greatest Italian operatic composer.
